Hera — Champigny-sur-Marne (FR)
Hera is located in Champigny-sur-Marne, in the quiet setting of the Marne riverbanks, within a predominantly residential neighbourhood. The project involves the energy refurbishment of a complex of two existing buildings housing the head office of IDF Habitat, the offices of Air Liquide Engineering & Construction, and the Musée de la Résistance Nationale (National Resistance Museum). The Val-de-Marne Family Allowance Fund (CAF) will also be moving into these premises, just a few steps from the former location of its offices.
Starting from two office buildings constructed in 2005, the project proposes a landscape transformation of the site through the creation of a garden on natural ground between the two facing buildings. This planted promenade, leading from the street to an entrance forecourt, will connect the existing spaces while offering a new way of using the outdoor areas.
